01 · Getting started
Who does Barontunez Team work with?

We primarily support independent artists, producers, songwriters and music projects that need practical help with audio quality, release preparation, promotion, branding or artist development. Enquiries are reviewed according to the project brief, service fit and available capacity.

How do I get started?

Use the Start a Project form. Share your artist or project name, the service you need, relevant listening links, your goals and target timeline. The form prepares a message for you to review and send; it does not automatically store your submission in a database.

What should I include in my first enquiry?

Include your artist name, genre, a private or public listening link, the release or project stage, what you want to achieve, your target date and any important constraints. For multi-asset projects, include a track or deliverables list.

Do you accept projects from artists in other countries?

Yes, enquiries can be considered internationally. Include your country and time zone so communication, delivery expectations and any relevant payment arrangements can be discussed clearly.

Do you accept phone or video calls?

Our standard workflow is asynchronous and text-first. Project communication is handled through written channels such as email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord or the relevant freelance platform, so decisions and approvals remain documented.

02 · Mastering & audio engineering
Is the audio diagnostic report free?

Yes, a complimentary initial diagnostic may be available for suitable submissions. It can include a brief listening assessment, visual frequency-analysis notes and, where agreed, a short A/B sample preview. The exact scope and availability are confirmed before review.

Does a free preview include the full master?

No. A complimentary preview is limited and illustrative; it is not the complete mastered track or a substitute for the paid service. Full-track mastering is quoted separately according to the audio, deliverables and requirements.

What audio files should I send for mastering?

Whenever possible, send the highest-quality stereo mix export available, preferably WAV at the original session sample rate and bit depth. Avoid converting a low-quality MP3 into WAV and label the final mix clearly. Tell us whether the file has already been limited or processed on the master bus.

Can you master an entire album or EP?

Yes. Multi-track projects can be assessed as a collection so that tonal balance, loudness, sequencing and transitions are considered consistently. Share the track count, running order, reference tracks and target release format for an accurate quote.

Can you fix clipping, muddy low mids or weak bass translation?

These are common areas to assess during audio review. The appropriate correction depends on the source mix; some issues can be improved in mastering, while others may require changes to the mix or source stems. We will explain limitations rather than promise that every issue can be repaired.

Which loudness and true-peak target will you use?

Targets are chosen for the intended release and listening context. A streaming-oriented delivery may use a conservative true-peak ceiling around −1 dBTP, but there is no single integrated LUFS value that suits every genre or platform. Final targets are agreed against the project brief.

Do you provide mixing, restoration or stem mastering?

These requirements can be discussed during assessment. Availability depends on the source files, number of stems, complexity and requested deliverables. Please describe the exact work you need rather than assuming every audio task is included in a standard mastering package.

03 · Promotion & pitching
Can you guarantee playlist placements, radio play or streams?

No. Playlist curators, radio programmers, platforms and audiences make independent decisions. We do not guarantee placements, streams, followers, revenue or a specific career result. We can clarify the agreed campaign activities and report verifiable responses or outcomes.

What is included in a music promotion campaign?

Depending on the agreed scope, a campaign may include audience and release positioning, target research, playlist or radio submission preparation, outreach coordination, follow-up tracking and a campaign summary. The exact targets, channels, timeline and deliverables are set out before payment.

Do you submit music to every playlist or radio station?

No. Submissions should be selective and relevant to the artist's genre, sound, audience and campaign objective. Third-party submission rules and acceptance decisions remain outside our control.

What do you need before pitching my music?

Provide a finished or near-final track, artist bio, genre and mood references, clean metadata, artwork where available, release date, streaming or private listening link and any relevant press or social links. Explicitly identify any rights or territory restrictions.

Will I receive campaign updates?

Updates and reporting are based on the deliverables agreed for the campaign. We distinguish outreach activity, replies, confirmed placements and audience metrics; an email or submission alone is not represented as a placement.

04 · Distribution & release management
Do you distribute music directly?

We can assist with release preparation, metadata coordination and distribution workflows. The distributor, account ownership, fees, delivery responsibilities, release control and any access permissions must be confirmed before an upload is undertaken. Store acceptance and publication timing are controlled by the distributor and platforms.

Can you help prepare a multi-track album?

Yes. We can discuss track sequencing, audio delivery checks, cover artwork, metadata, credits, release dates and promotional preparation. The complete track list and responsibilities should be confirmed in a written project scope.

What metadata should I prepare?

Prepare the exact artist and release titles, track titles and order, primary and featured artist credits, songwriter and producer credits, explicit-content status, language, genre, release date, territories and ownership information. Spelling and credit accuracy are important because corrections can take time after delivery.

How early should I start release preparation?

Earlier is better, particularly when artwork, credits, rights checks, multiple tracks or promotional assets are involved. The lead time depends on the distributor, stores, project complexity and any requested campaign. We will discuss a realistic schedule once the release details are known.

Can you guarantee a release will appear on a particular date?

No. We can plan and submit according to the agreed schedule, but final review, acceptance, processing and publication are controlled by distributors and digital stores. Avoid announcing a date as confirmed until the relevant platform or distributor status supports it.

05 · Artist branding & creative production
Can you create cover art, visualizers and music videos?

Creative production can include cover artwork, motion graphics, Spotify Canvas-style loops, animated visualizers and music-video assets, depending on the brief. We confirm format, dimensions, duration, style, source materials, revision allowance and delivery files before starting.

Can you build an artist or music website?

Website projects can be scoped around an artist profile, music and video library, release information, artwork, streaming links, press materials and enquiry options. Domain registration, hosting, ongoing maintenance and third-party service fees should be discussed separately.

Can you help with a Google Knowledge Panel?

We can discuss artist identity consistency, structured public information and supporting profile references. Google independently decides whether to create, display or update a Knowledge Panel, so no panel or approval can be guaranteed.

What if I don't have a clear visual direction?

Share references you like, your genre, audience, mood and any existing artwork or brand elements. We can help translate those into a visual brief and confirm a direction before production begins.

Will I receive editable source files?

Source or project files are not automatically included in every package. The final export formats and whether editable files, layered artwork or project sessions are supplied must be explicitly included in the written scope.

06 · Rights, sync & copyright
Do you handle sync licensing?

We can discuss sync-readiness, catalog organisation, metadata, instrumental or alternate versions and pitching support. Any representation, rights, exclusivity, territory, fees, commission and approval authority must be defined in a separate written agreement. A placement is never guaranteed.

Can you register my copyright?

We can provide administrative guidance and help organise the information or materials needed for a registration process. Registration requirements and legal effects vary by country. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or guarantee registration outcomes.

Do I keep ownership of my music and artwork?

Ownership and licence terms depend on the agreement for the specific service and any third-party materials involved. The project scope should state who owns supplied materials, what rights are granted for use, and whether any licences or transfers apply. Do not assume rights are transferred unless the written agreement says so.

What if my track contains samples or third-party material?

Tell us about any samples, beats, compositions, artwork, vocal performances or other third-party material and confirm that you have the necessary permissions. We may ask for supporting information before distribution, promotion or licensing work proceeds.

07 · Pricing, revisions & project process
How are projects priced?

Pricing depends on the service, number of tracks or assets, complexity, deliverables, schedule and any third-party costs. We provide a quote after reviewing the brief. No payment should be made until the scope, fee and applicable terms have been confirmed in writing.

Do you offer packages?

Some services may be available as defined packages, while larger or combined projects require a custom quote. If you need multiple services, select “Multiple services / not sure yet” in the enquiry form and describe your priorities.

How many revisions are included?

Revision allowances depend on the service and package. The number of rounds, what counts as a revision, and how additional changes are charged should be written into the project agreement before work begins.

When does the project timeline begin?

The timeline begins once the agreed scope is accepted, required materials and information are received, and any required payment or platform order is confirmed. Missing files, late feedback or changes to scope may affect delivery dates.

How do I send large files?

Use a trusted file-sharing link with download permissions enabled, and label files clearly. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive account credentials. Share only materials you have permission to provide.

How do you handle communication and approvals?

Communication is handled through written channels including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, email or the relevant freelance platform. Key decisions, approvals, revisions, delivery notes and scope changes should remain in writing so both sides have a clear record.

What happens after delivery?

We deliver the agreed files or project outputs using the method stated in the scope. Please review the delivery against the agreed specifications and report any included revision requests within the stated review period. Ongoing support or additional work can be quoted separately.

Can I cancel or change a project after it starts?

Any cancellation, rescheduling or scope change is handled according to the written agreement or the applicable freelance platform's terms. Contact us promptly if your plans change so the impact on work already completed and scheduled delivery can be clarified.
